I am a tad late with my reviews otherwise you would know how much I loved it. Well, it's made it on to my list of favourites, I think that already tells you something.

I have already read a few books that take place in Burma (mainly before it was named Myanmar) but will keep your suggestion in mind. Thank you for the recommendation.

Here's to a happy reading year 2018,
MarianneMarianne https://www.blogger.com/profile/11810275740213848634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1009417175818512962.post-15699817841287081462018-01-17T13:06:32.699+01:002018-01-17T13:06:32.699+01:00I think we all should read what we enjoy most, we ...I think we all should read what we enjoy most, we are learning something from every book we read, even if it's always the same. I like to revisit my books by remembering them in lists.

I'm sure we'll both have a great reading year 2018.
Greetings,
MarianneMarianne https://www.blogger.com/profile/11810275740213848634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1009417175818512962.post-71257832318304655832018-01-16T16:18:25.049+01:002018-01-16T16:18:25.049+01:00I read many chunky and chunkster books last year t...I read many chunky and chunkster books last year too.
You might like Eowyn Ivey's first book: The Snow Child.
You definitely hit more countries than I did.
Also, for a book about Myanmar/Burma I recommend Miss Burma by Charmaine Craig.Judy Kruegerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11632346091869688862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1009417175818512962.post-85845993027052966452018-01-15T16:50:07.013+01:002018-01-15T16:50:07.013+01:00You always read such a diverse group of books.
