I still don't know whether I want to watch the story or not.

Interesting that you don't care for Mansfield Park. My least favourite Austen novel is Northanger Abbey.Marianne https://www.blogger.com/profile/11810275740213848634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1009417175818512962.post-31323987286838915202021-01-18T17:42:20.714+01:002021-01-18T17:42:20.714+01:00Probably not. So, yes, no stories like that for me.Marianne https://www.blogger.com/profile/11810275740213848634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1009417175818512962.post-49501344860721796862021-01-18T12:41:03.077+01:002021-01-18T12:41:03.077+01:00I really loved the TV-series, but was so disappoin...I really loved the TV-series, but was so disappointed when I read there would not be another season. Considering how tv-shows always continue with new seasons even when there is no manuscript, I find it a big disappointment. However, being a fan of Jane Austen, except for Mansfield Park, I will read Sandition this year. Do you ever read follow-ups written by another author than the original one?Marianne https://www.blogger.com/profile/11810275740213848634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1009417175818512962.post-87476911981449746112021-01-13T17:39:49.210+01:002021-01-13T17:39:49.210+01:00I too am reluctant to read unfinished work, especi...I too am reluctant to read unfinished work, especially by an author I love. I just had a thought though while reading your review. What if the reader went ahead and wrote the rest of the story?Judy Kruegerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11632346091869688862noreply@blogger.com
