But you are right i...That is so nice of you to say. But you are right in one respect. This is definitely not my genre. But I did enjoy the book. There is something, I can't really put my finger on it but there is something there that makes me like the story, the (re-)telling of a fictive setting in a different century, from a different point of view. I'm always intrigued when someone who's literary taste I admire (you) likes a book better than I did.
