I have been participating in "What's in a Name?" ages ago (2014 and 2020) but then the person who did it finished and I somehow lost touch.
Now I found this on Margaret's page BooksPlease and decided to join again. This is currently hosted by Andrea at Carolina Book Nook. It was started by Annie, who was ten or eleven at the time, on her blog Words by Annie. First Beth @ Beth Fish Reads and then Charlie @ The Worm Hole took over hosting before handing it over to Andrea.
So, this is a ‘must‘ challenge for me!
The words we need to find this year are:
Six/6:
Titles for this category need to include the word "six" or number "6" somewhere in the title, even if they are part of another word or number.

I don't know whether I will manage to fill all the challenges but, as you say, have already done one.

Fun! I'm always looking for interesting ways to pick my next reads. This could be one of them... [muses]
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought, Kitten. And I already went through my TBR pile and found a few books I could read for this.
DeleteI was going through various piles of books last night too. I found 3 suitable books so far - back into the stacks later for the others. I also "found" another book for my long term project plus I rooted out some SF Classics for *another* idea! A productive day I call that...! [lol]
DeleteThe walls of your home could collapse and it would not matter because the roof would be held up by all his books! I'm surprised you only found three so far, lol
DeleteI did this challenge once a looooong time ago. It was fun. And these categories are good ones. Happy reading! :D
ReplyDeleteSame here, Lark, it's been a while. I hope I can fill all of them by the end of the year but if not, well, that's not the end of the world.
DeleteWe could probably complete this just on books read recently!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I thought, Constance. And I only join that kind of challenges. Have a great day and thanks for visiting.
DeleteWhat a fun idea. I have found so many challenges through your blog. I will have to see what I can already use from recent reads and see if I can work it into my schedule.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I used to do that one, and also this year, I thought I would try again, but just seeing if my titles would match, so I haven't officially joined, I will only if I can do it.
ReplyDeleteSo far:
Peace: Out of the Silent Planet
Pathways: The Chinese Maze
Flower: The Name of the Rose (currently reading)
I may cheat with 6 in case I don't get anything: Lock In is a title with 6 letters ;-)
