I found this on one of the blogs I follow, Books are the New Black who found it at One Book More. It was originally created by Jana from Reviews from the Stacks, and the idea is to spell the month using the first letter of book titles.
Unfortunately, Jana seems to have disappeared and has not given us any new subjects. So, I've decided to come up with the last books I read that started with the letters I need.
MAY
M
A
Swindells, Robert "Abomination" - 1998
Y
All three books were fantastic.

Happy Reading!

Short and sweet. :D May would be the easiest month except for that Y; I think titles starting with Y would be hard to find.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lark. Well, May is not a long word. I think I have used Year of Wonders before but I can't help it. And it was one of the books I read lately. Since Jana has not turned up again, yet, I will have to find another topic for June.
ReplyDeleteOh that was a good idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Emma. At least the chance of a lot of repeats is not as large.
DeleteOf these three I've only read Martin Chuzzlewit, which I enjoyed. It's good to know you think Year of wonders is fantastic as I have an e-book copy in my TBRs - I loved her book, People of the Book!
DeleteI loved it. Such an interesting book about the plague, based on a true story. The end was pretty compressed, could have been another novel. But all her books are great.
