This month can only get better than the last. I was sick most of the time but the worst was that my mother passed away. She followed my father only a year and three months after his death and is in peace now.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss Marianne, losing a parent at any age is devastating. I lost my Mother after a long illness and though her death was expected it was hard. But even worse was my Father who unexpectedly died of a heart attack, I was devastated. I became an orphan in my 50's, but I felt like a child, so I know how hard it is what you're going through.

Thank you so much for your kind words, Janet. It was similar with both my parents, my father had a long illness but died very unexpectedly. My mother never got over it and her biggest wish was to follow him soon. It was quite a shock for us but we know she is in a better place. I am lucky to have three great brothers and we help each other to get over this.
