"Top Ten Tuesday" is an original feature/weekly meme created on the blog "The Broke and the Bookish". This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at "The Broke and the Bookish". Since I am just as fond of them as they are, I jump at the chance to share my lists with them! Have a look at their page, there are lots of other bloggers who share their lists here.

I loved Atticus Finch from To Kill A Mockingbird. I think he was a really great character :)
ReplyDeleteJillian @ Jillian's Books
Atticus Finch is probably one of the greatest heroes of all time. I am glad you like him, too.
DeleteI just checked your list and commented on your page, as well.
Have a good day,
Marianne
I agree with these! Especially Atticus and Anne Elliot. Anne Elliot is one of my favorite characters in Austen. :)

Thank you, Lois. As I just said to Jillian, Atticus Finch is probably one of the greatest heroes of all time. And Anne Elliot, she is the reason why "Persuasion" is my favourite Jane Austen novel - and that's a tough decision to make. I love that you chose the "evil" Jane Austen characters. My Number one there would be Mrs. Norris.
DeleteHave a good week,
Marianne
Jo March has always topped my list of characters to admire!

I love her, too. Probably because I would have liked to be her if I was one of the sisters. We all have our favourites but I think Jo is by far the most interesting, adventurous and smart one.
DeleteI just stopped by your page and love it. I am a new follower.
Have a good week,
Marianne
I'm sad to say I have never read any of those books. Though I have seen the Little Women movie, I've never actually read the book.

Thanks Whitney,
DeleteI just visited your blog, as well and commented there. As I said there, if you haven't read any of mine and I haven't read any of yours, it doesn't mean we don't like similar books, there are so many. I am sure we find some that we both like and that we can benefit from each other's reading. I started following you, too.
Have a good week, too,
Marianne
