I haven't seen "Maikäfer", but "Marienkäfer".
They are much more common.
Definitely. I am not a huge fan of Maikäfer but even worse are the Junikäfer that turned up a couple of years ago. Fortunately, none in our garden but I've seen some at friends houses. Ugly and awful.
Oh, I have never seen those. But we have June beetles here, but they are not super ugly.
Maybe they're the same, Eva. I tried to google it but couldn't find the specific species.
