"Top Ten Tuesday" is an original feature/weekly meme created on the blog "The Broke and the Bookish". This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at "The Broke and the Bookish". Since I am just as fond of them as they are, I jump at the chance to share my lists with them! Have a look at their page, there are lots of other bloggers who share their lists here.

Some of these are the follow-up of a series, others are books by authors I liked who wrote a new novel/non-fiction book. Some have already been published a little earlier this year but they all have one thing in common, I would love to read them all.

I had to go and pre-order the Bill Bryson and Kate Morton. My husband, who is an even bigger Bryson fan than me, said January is a long way off, I may have to check and see when it comes out in the UK.
ReplyDeleteHardcover 18 October 2015. ;) I love my paperbacks but I think this might be one of my exceptions.
DeleteHappy Reading,
Marianne
Ooh, a new Bill Bryson book! I'll have to look into that. Did you know "A Walk in the Woods" is coming out in movie form soon? "The Lake House" is on my list too, and eventually I'll get caught up in the Ben Aaronovitch series! I've only read the first book so far.
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I couldn't believe it myself. "Notes from a Small Island" is my favourite book, probably because I lived there as a foreigner myself and loved it just as much as Bill Bryson does.
DeleteI have heard that they are making a movie out of "A Walk in the Woods", don't know how his books will translate onto the big screen but I will have to watch it. ;)
I hae only read the first two Peter Grant novels but really liked them (even though they are crime and magic mixed together, two genres I normally don't like) but I know I will read them all. And hubby loves them, as well, so they will already be in the house ...
Have a good day,
Marianne
thank you for sharing! some of these I´m putting to my list. I´ll have to try Bill Bryson.
ReplyDeleteI like paperback, too
You are welcome, I love sharing my love of books (as you can tell) and am always happy when someone finds a new author through me, especially if they love them afterwards. I foudn so many new writers through my international friends, I'm always glad to pass it on.
