"Top Ten Tuesday" is an original feature/weekly meme created on the blog "The Broke and the Bookish". This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at "The Broke and the Bookish".
It is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
Since I am just as fond of them as they are, I jump at the chance to share my lists with them! Have a look at their page, there are lots of other bloggers who share their lists here.

Great list! I must read Ant the Mountains Echoed, I have heard SUCH good things about it. My TTT is here https://bookloverssanctuary.com/2020/04/07/top-ten-tuesday-books-i-bought-because/
ReplyDeleteThank you for this. It's a great list. I have looked at some of the lists on the challenge but couldn't find any that I really would enjoy, your list is great. Will comment there now.
DeleteHappy reading and stay safe!
And you really should read "And the Mountains Echoed", it's fantastic.
DeleteThis is both a great list of authors and a great list of books.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deb. My favourites, so I'm glad you agree. ♥
DeleteI read and liked David Copperfield years ago, but I can't remember much about it anymore.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
It's definitely my favourite Dickens novel so far but I haven't read all of them, yet.
DeleteThanks for the link, I'll head over there now.
Quite a list. Enjoy. https://pmprescott.blogspot.com/2020/04/ttt-040720.html
ReplyDeleteThanks, I have enjoyed all of them, and will read more by these authors once they write more or, in case they are deceased, try to read all of their books one day.
DeleteWill go and see your list now.
I have read a few of these. I love Thirteen Moons, as well as his other books. https://keepthewisdom.blogspot.com/2007/03/thirteen-moons.html
ReplyDeleteI absolutely loved "Thirteen Moons", certainly my favourite by Charles Frazier. Wouldn't mind if he wrote some more books ...
DeleteProbably the biggest factor that will get me to buy or at least pick up a book is that I love the author. I have a long list of auto-read authors and I ALWAYS get excited when I hear they have a new book coming out :)
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan
So true. I am constantly waiting for the next books by my favourite authors. Well, some of them won't write any more but the others, I hope they'll write many many more.
DeleteThanks for your visit.
Love for an author is a great reason to read one of their books.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely one of the best, in my opinion. Though I also love to find new authors that I then can explore. Thanks for your visit.
