Top Ten Tuesday ~ Top Ten Books I Bought/Borrowed Because…

"Top Ten Tuesday" is an original feature/weekly meme created on the blog "The Broke and the Bookish". This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at "The Broke and the Bookish".

It is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

Since I am just as fond of them as they are, I jump at the chance to share my lists with them! Have a look at their page, there are lots of other bloggers who share their lists here.

Books I Bought/Borrowed Because…
... the author is one of my favourites (and the book I mention is one of my favourites by that author):

    1. Thank you for this. It's a great list. I have looked at some of the lists on the challenge but couldn't find any that I really would enjoy, your list is great. Will comment there now.

      Happy reading and stay safe!

    1. It's definitely my favourite Dickens novel so far but I haven't read all of them, yet.

Thanks for the link, I'll head over there now.

    1. Thanks, I have enjoyed all of them, and will read more by these authors once they write more or, in case they are deceased, try to read all of their books one day.

Will go and see your list now.

    1. I absolutely loved "Thirteen Moons", certainly my favourite by Charles Frazier. Wouldn't mind if he wrote some more books ...

  6. Probably the biggest factor that will get me to buy or at least pick up a book is that I love the author. I have a long list of auto-read authors and I ALWAYS get excited when I hear they have a new book coming out :)

    Happy TTT!

    Susan

    1. So true. I am constantly waiting for the next books by my favourite authors. Well, some of them won't write any more but the others, I hope they'll write many many more.

      Thanks for your visit.

  7. Love for an author is a great reason to read one of their books.

    1. Definitely one of the best, in my opinion. Though I also love to find new authors that I then can explore. Thanks for your visit.
