"Top Ten Tuesday" is an original feature/weekly meme created on the blog "The Broke and the Bookish". This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at "The Broke and the Bookish".
It is now hosted by Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl.
Since
I am just as fond of them as they are, I jump at the chance to share my
lists with them! Have a look at their page, there are lots of other
bloggers who share their lists here.
This week, our topic is Bookish Merchandise I'd Love to Own.
That would definitely go far beyond the scope because, if I may quote "Queen": "I want it all".
Therefore, I have restricted myself to some of the stuff I already own. Since my sons always say "you can never go wrong with a present with a bookish theme for you" (and hubby agrees with it), I have plenty of mugs and bags that fit into that category. I have bookends, bookmarks and statues, ornaments, jewelry and clothing (shawls, socks, T-shirts, sweatshirts, you name it …), cushions and - because my husband is an AFOL (Adult Fan of Lego) - I even have a Lego bookshop. And lots of book stamps. Whenever I see one and it is for sale, it's mine. LOL
So, enjoy my collage of bookish merchandise I own.
Bookish Mug w. elephant, Jane Austen Bookend, Reader Statues, Jane Austen Necklace, Reader Ornament, Two Readers, Asterix and Obelix Reading Statues, Book Stamp, Christmas Tree Ornament, Bag w. Bookworm's Belongings, Cushion Dinosaur w. Books, Bookbag w. Books, Book Mug, Lego Bookshop, Janes Austen P&P Shawl
Of course, that doesn't mean I'm done, as I said above: 🎼 I want it all! 🎼
Now I'm looking forward to everyone else's list. I'm sure there is plenty I can put on my wishlist for my next birthday, Christmas, etc. etc.
📚 Happy Reading! 📚
My favourites are book related mugs and especially T-shirts. Although I have seen some pretty cool book related socks which did appeal!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kitten. I wouldn't know which ones are my favourites, they are all great. Might be the bags because I always take bags somewhere and I use them all the time.
DeleteThat lego bookshop is so cute!
ReplyDeleteLauren @ www.shootingstarsmag.net
Thanks, Lauren, it was one of those idea sets where users build something, Lego presents it to the customers and they vote for it. If an idea gets enough votes, they make it a special build. We have several of them and when the bookshop came out, we just had to get that. LOL
DeleteI love the dinosaur with books graphic! How cute! I'd love to see that print on other items too. ^.^
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jennifer. I think it is so adorable, too. That is actually a cushion cover my son gave to me for Christmas. They might have this on other items, I have no idea. I can ask him where he purchased it, maybe we can find out.
DeleteMy son informed me that he got the dinosaur pillow off of Redbubble, and it is absolutely available on other products as well. So, there is something you can put on your wishlist. ;)
DeleteOmg, a Lego bookshop!? That is amazing 😍 And lucky you to be getting all the bookish gifts all the time—I definitely wouldn't say no to all that either, hehe. I also want it all!
ReplyDeleteI know, Dini. I just explained to Shooting Stars Mag what it is. And no, we definitely don't say no to any bookish gift. Hehe. I think, Lego ought to bring out the library from "Beauty and the Beast". That would be fantastic, wouldn't it?
DeleteThe Leggo shop is so cute!!! Here is my post-https://paigesofnovels.wordpress.com/2022/04/19/top-ten-tuesday-bookish-merch-id-love-to-own/.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Paige. I love it.
DeleteI love this! I just saw the Lego Bookstore on someone else's post...I didn't know it existed! How awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Cindy, it was a special as I explained to Shooting Stars Mag ^^. I absolutely treasure it.
DeleteI love and collect mugs and my favorite are definitely my bookish mugs! The bigger the better ☕️
ReplyDeleteHere is my TTT post: https://herseriallife.com/top-10-bookish-merchandise-love-own/
Absolutely, Rae. I have quite a few but I wanted to give an idea of different stuff I have. We are really spoiled.
DeleteI love your merch, especially the bookworm belongings and dinosaur bags are adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Lindsey, they were both presents from my youngest son who lives in Brussels. The dinosaur is on a cushion cover. I have it in my living room and see it all the time. People always comment how cute it is.
DeleteWhat a fun collection!
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
Thank you, Poinsettia. There is so much stuff with books on it, the vendors know what we like. LOL
DeleteThank you for sharing your collection!

You're welcome, Pam. It was an absolute pleasure.
DeleteSo much cute stuff! You just reminded me that my husband bought a Lego bookstore for me (maybe even the same one you have) and has never put it together. I totally forgot about it, LOL.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
It probably is the same, Susan, they only ever issued the one set. We talked about this before, we have so much in common, even Lego building husbands. LOL.
DeleteMaybe he can build it for you once you have moved. It will be even better because you will have a designated space for it right away.
The lego bookshop is so cool!

Thanks, Jo, I think so, as well. It also has a nice interior.
DeleteThe bookworms belongings and dinosaur cushion are awesome!
ReplyDeleteI know. So cute. I'll let my son know who gave them both to me last Christmas. Thanks, Jem.
