This Christmas tree ornament was one of the first ones we found more than three decades ago and it has been on our tree every year. I absolutely love it and the carol on it, as well.

The world in solemn stillness lay,

When with the ever-circling years
Shall come the time foretold,
When peace shall over all the earth
Its ancient splendors fling,
And the whole world send back the song
