Top Ten Tuesday ~ Books I Hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes

"Top Ten Tuesday" is an original feature/weekly meme created on the blog "The Broke and the Bookish". This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at "The Broke and the Bookish". It is now hosted by Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl.

Since I am just as fond of them as they are, I jump at the chance to share my lists with them! Have a look at their page, there are lots of other bloggers who share their lists here.

This week, our topic is Books I Hope Santa Brings/Bookish Wishes
(or summer for those in the southern hemisphere)

    1. Thanks, Pam, I also love it a lot and have quite a few of their books already. They are always beautiful, even if you don't bake. But if you do, they are even better with so many ideas for new bakes.

  11. A nice choice of books, I hope you get at least some of them. I see some of them are on my shelves as well, or on a wish to read shelf.
Doerr, Anthony "Cloud Cuckoo Land"- we will read this one for our next book club

Mackay, Lauren "The Wolf Hall Companion. The People. The Places. The History" - I loved Wolf Hall (still to read the last book). This seems like a useful book to be able to locate yourself among the places and people.

Towles, Amor "The Lincoln Highway" After ..Gentleman this is a must read.

Whitehead, Colson "Harlem Shuffle" For another book club we will read this one.

Something to look forward to indeed.

    1. Thanks, Lisbeth. I think I found a few of these on your page. Or we talked about it. I know one of my blogger friends read "The Wolf Hall Companion".

I hope you will like all of the ones you mentioned, I've read other books by Anthony Doerr, Amor Towles (as you know) and Colson Whitehead, I'm sure they will be great.

    1. Definitely not, Aymee. I just love the Bake-Off and have most of their books (also from some of the bakers), so these are definitely some I would loooove to add.

    1. Thanks, Sarah. Well, some of them are not even out. I always have a wishlist of books I see on other bloggers' pages, so this was an easy one.

I did get three of them, though. So that's a great thing if you consider that there were only five of us exchanging gifts.
