Six in Six

From The Book Jotter

I found this through one of my blogger friends, Emma @ Words and Peace who was made aware of it though Jo @ The Book Jotter. Jo started this in 2012, so congratulations on doing it that long and providing us with a great way to reminisce about our books of the year so far.
She has given us 52 categories from which we can choose six and mention six books that belong into those categories. (But one book can be in several lists, see her rules here).

I have tried to stick to books that I liked which wasn't always easy but I succeeded.

Six new authors to me

Alvarez, Julia "In the Time of the Butterflies" - 1994
Boschwitz, Ulrich Alexander "The Passenger" aka "The Fugitive" (GE: Der Reisende) - 1939

  1. I like the idea of 6 in 6, and I especially like the way you included (mostly) books that you liked.

    1. Thanks, Deb. I was very taken with the idea and there are so many different subjects to choose from. I usually try to list books that I liked but sometimes it's unavoidable to include some that I didn't. But then I alwas mention it.
      Have a nice weekend.

  2. What a fun idea! I'm not sure if I've read enough books in 2022 to make an interesting post but I might give it a shot.

    1. Give it a try, Joy. You will have noticed that I have repeated some of the books because they fit in more than one category. And even if you only do three in three or four in four, it definitely is fun. No rules are written in stone here.

    1. Thanks, Emma. It was really fun and interesting to see what I've been doing so far, this year. It's a nice addition to my Mid Year Book Freakout Tag 2022. Both are interesting and both offer us different kind of information.

  4. Great meme, I used to participate, and don't know why I don't do it anymore. It makes for a good variety of authors and countries as you show. I will go on a make one myself.

    1. I suppose that's you, Jo. The blogger world seems to be going mad at the moment, I've had the problem of commenting as anonymous.
In any case, my pleasure and thanks for doing this in the first place.

    1. Thank you for that comment, Lory, it's nice if the work gets appreciated. Blogger doesn't always make it easy to put in various pictures but I think it is worth it.

The Reading List should be a great book for any avid reader. You can always find more infos in my link and from there you can also go to Goodreads (just click on the picture on that page).

I hope you will get to read it and enjoy it.
