Top Ten Tuesday ~ Twenty-Three Books on My Winter 2021 To-read List

"Top Ten Tuesday" is an original feature/weekly meme created on the blog "The Broke and the Bookish". This feature was created because they are particularly fond of lists at "The Broke and the Bookish". It is now hosted by Jana from That Artsy Reader Girl.

Since I am just as fond of them as they are, I jump at the chance to share my lists with them! Have a look at their page, there are lots of other bloggers who share their lists here.

This week, our topic is Books on My Winter 2021 To-read List
(or summer for those in the southern hemisphere)

I already have a couple of challenges that I haven't finished, yet, so the list is easy to complete. Having said that it's TTTT today - Top Twenty-Three Tuesday

  2. CONFESSIONS OF A BOOKSELLER sounds fun! I always enjoy books about books and haven't all of us bibliophiles dreamed about owning a bookshop? I know I have. THE STORY OF THE OTHER WISE MAN also sounds fun. I hope you enjoy all these!

    Happy TTT!

    1. Thanks, Susan. I have read another book by Shaun Bythell, The Diary of a Bookseller. It was hilarious, so I really want to read this one. And "The Story of the Other Wise Man" reminds me of another story like this The Tale of Three Trees.

  4. Wow! This is an impressive collection! Re: 'Much Ado About Nothing." One of my favorite Shakespearean comedies. Hilarious, in a 16th century sort of way. Hope you enjoy! You might also check out the movie with Kenneth Branagh as Benedict and Emma Thompson as Beatrice. The all-star cast includes Denzel Washington, Keanu Reeves, and Michael Keaton (serious scene stealer).

  13. Ominous list of books. So many languages, too. good luck with your reading and I hope you and I do become blogging friends!

    1. So do I, Anne. Just after two or three comments I can tell that we have a similar taste and are at a similar place in life.

And the languages. Yes, I love languages and luckily a lot of the not so well-known ones get translated into German so I can enjoy them all, even if I don't speak the original language (like Turkish or Hebrew ...)
